When Lee and Amber come to Lakeport, they bring along the grandpuppies. It always takes DC a little time to get used to having dogs in "his" house. We usually end up keeping him in our bedroom with the door closed - moving his food and litter box back there for him. Even at that, it still takes him a day or so to get accustomed to having the Tyke and Bullet around. And, this trip, they also brought along Dakota - Lee's doberman. She's such a sweet dog - all of them are - and they don't really understand why DC doesn't tolerate them like their own cats do !
DC thinks that if he is crouched here up on the hearth that Tyke and Bullet will leave him alone. And, they actually do just give up on him, realizing that he isn't going to play with them. Poor puppies - they just want DC to play run and chase !
