These are the real rulers of the roost !! PR is on the left and the Siamese is DC. We have had DC for about 12 - 13 years now. Our really good friends, the Jones'gave him to the boys when we moved into our first home - a condo on the lake here in Lakeport. The boys named him DC for their favorite team at the time, the Dallas Cowboys...so guys, is that still a favorite? Milt and I knew that DeAnn and Alan were going to give us the cat and we actually got our pick of the litter. When we were out to see the kittens, I was holding DC and when Milt walked by us in DeAnn's kitchen, DC reached out with his "hand" to have Milt take him -- so, Milt was won over and DC was our pick of the kittens. He has such a fun personality and we swear that he is mostly human....DC's an old man now and we are all going to be really sad when it's his time to go. PR was brought to us by Lee - thanks Amber !! - he was one of a litter from Amber's familiy cat. Lee snuck him into his room one night after having spent time with Amber. Knowing something was up, I went into his room and he said "Look what I have Mom..." I immediately asked how he thought DC would react! And, being the only pet for so long, DC did not have a real favorable reaction to him for the first few days. But, as you can see in the picture above, they became best buddies and you will always find them curled up together like this if they are both in the house. PR has as much personality as DC does and he is a really fun cat. We have given up on trying to apologize for them both - if you come visit, you're just going to have to like cats - we do, after all, live in their home....
